Mudar Ahmad

Mudar Ahmad is studying mathematics and Spanish to become a teacher at Martin Luther University in Halle an der Saale. He comes from Syria and has lived in Germany since 2015. He has been a Heinrich Böll Foundation scholarship holder since 2019.

He didn’t use to think much of feminism and equal rights, as they were secondary issues for him. That has changed: He is currently doing a lot of research on these topics and is in the process of finding out more about them. He also likes to talk about equality.

Mudar is also interested in topics such as discrimination, sea rescue and integration/inclusion – topics that are biographical for him. He also loves theater, writing and acting.
Here you can find a short film about integration by Mudar Ahmad:

Mudar offers workshops on sea rescue, empowerment, engagement and anti-discrimination. His aim is to work in a playful and theatrical way and offer plenty of space for reflection. His workshop languages are German, English and Arabic.
